Urea formaldehyde resins are the second important group of amino resins together with melamine formaldehyde. Urea formaldehyde resin is widely used in the production of MDF (flake board) and plywood.   • Formaldehyde enters special reactors. Adjusting the pH, the first step is to load the urea into the reactor. It first occurs after the reaction of the methylol groups with the basic pH and the reaction with acidic pH.
  • After acidic reaction, the second urea should be added.
  • To adjust the solid content, needing to take water with the vacuum system.
  • If necessary, the powder urea-formaldehyde is sent to the waiting tank and the spray drying column without the vacuum product.
